MY WISH LIST FOR 2012
1. Eliminate all private money from politics. Everyone running for office shall receive the same amount of public money, and not a penny more.
2. A law must be passed that overturns the Supreme Court's incomprehensible decision that permits corporations and unions to contribute unlimited amounts of money to political campaigns.
3. Abolish all lobbying. The president, the senate and the congress shall represent the people who elected them, and no one else.
4. Establish once and for all that white collar crime is an enforceable felony. In China, they take them out in back and shoot them.
5. Regulators must protect us by regulating the industries that we pay them to regulate instead of protecting those industries while placing the rest of us at risk.
6. When corporations behave badly, We the People must boycott the products of those companies. It is the only strategy that they will understand. Otherwise, they will continue to run over us like steamrollers.
7. It is essential that we take our money out of the too-big-to-"jail" banks. If it is possible that we still have faith in the U.S. dollar after it has lost 96% of its value since the Federal Reserve was created in 1913, then we should place what's left of our assets in our local community banks and credit unions.
8. Abolish the Federal Reserve and replace their counterfeiting with sound money that has intrinsic value.
9. Stay out of the markets. They are all rigged. Don't wake up one morning only to discover your account is worthless like MF Global customers.
10. Study Senate Bill 1867, the National Defense Authorization Act, which would put an end to democracy in the United States. Demand that Obama veto this war on America should it land on his desk for signing.
11. Stop talking about yourselves long enough to listen to someone else for a change. Who knows, you might learn something. There really is no such thing as teaching. There is only learning. In fact, for all we know, we were all placed on this planet to learn lessons. You don't learn anything when you're the center of the universe.
12. Get off the couch. Stop obsessing with reality shows and video games and become involved. HAPPY HOLIDAYS.
